Alex has been home all week, having not fully recovered from the last virus he had.

Nic, you aren't kidding. He's 4 1/2, weighs about 50 pounds (yet he's still lean), and comes in around 3' 9"!!
That puts about seventeen inches between us. By the time he's in second grade, he could be taller than me!
