8. NNNNN; Carl Reiner
Funny! Love Carl Reiner (Reinemachefrau! It means she could be my cleaning woman. ) NNNNN has multiple, yet intersecting, story lines. A quick read, at just over 200 pages, I was completely drawn into this world of Nat, an author, who has audible conversations with himself...in different voices. He sees a shrink, and ends up learning more about himself than he could ever have imagined.
Reiner's a good story teller (The Dick Van Dyke show, anyone?), although the neither the narration nor the subject itself are expected! Good book, though.
