Stay little...just for a while?
I love being Alex's Mom. I don't know that I would enjoy it as much with a different child...
But there are moments that are...sad isn't right. Bittersweet, perhaps.
Packing up the clothes Alex has outgrown, I cry.
Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
But, that's what happens.
These adorable, tiny, clothes...and he doesn't fit into them any longer. He's growing up. Becoming this incredible person...and that's great. I look forward to seeing what kind of man he becomes.
I'm not asking to keep him a toddler forever...but could he just slow down, for a bit? Please?
