Q & A

Thanks to Erin for the questions!

1. You may choose one fictional character to invite to a dinner party
at your house. Who would it be, and why?

Hmmm...tough choice. I've often thought a dinner party with both Hercule Poirot and Sherlock Holmes in attendance would be interesting. If I had to choose one, I guess I'd pick Poirot. Holmes wasn't a big fan of women...

2. What is your favorite childhood memory?

Playing in Grammy and Grandpa's backyard (probably making mud stew), then being called in for a Pirates game on television, and eating wing dings or sardines on crackers (ok, ok...but Grampa loved them, therefore I loved them).

3. If you could have a super power, what would it be?

To read people's minds. I'm pretty sure I know when I'm being lied to, but one can't be sure. Plus, I've had many instances where I was being 'hit on', but wasn't aware of it until much later. (Pittsburgh Pirates' former director of broadcasting, Jon Mercurio, for example...dumb, dumb, dumb me.) I promise I'd only use it for good!

4. If you could go back in time to any point in your life and give
yourself advice, when would it be, and what advice would you give
yourself?

Not to date that doofus Scott, right around the time Matt went to Africa (before we were 'official').

5. What is your favorite place in the world? Describe it for us.

There are many wonderful places (some simple, like hanging out at Bum's Rock...!), but thus far, I'm going to have to say Ashford Castle), and it's surrounding grounds.

Like something out of an old novel, a castle almost eight hundred years old...large, looming, yet not menacing. Romantic, grand...amazing.
Forests, lakes, sprawling lawns...everything you cold possibly want. Clock tower.

Just gorgeous. My very short time there will live with me forever. And my wish is to see it again before I die...and for my visit to be much, much longer.

Idle Chatter:
Nice job! Sorry I didn't get a chance to send you questions, but I'm glad Erin stepped up to the challenge...

Yeah, I'm good like that...hope there was no toe-stepping going on, but I thought it was neat to kind of keep the chain going. :)
