Eat More Toast
It's late, my eyes are blurry, I'm tired, and I still need to floss...
BUT...
I have read Something Rotten.
The whole thing. Tonight (um, this morning?).
And I'm still in love with Jasper Fforde.
Ok. Not, you know, romantically in love. But this man is a genius. Brilliant.
I laughed (aloud), worried, wondered, cried, and was heartened by two lines of type near the very end of the book:
I want to be Thursday Next. I want to (literally) jump into books. I want to meet the characters (I'd love to have lunch with Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot), and wander through backstory.
Wonderful books. If you've not yet picked up one of them, please do so. You won't regret it.
Now...I must stumble towards the bathroom. I need sleep!
