Carp Diem

Sunday, we took a trip to Chatanooga (no, we didn't ride the choo-choo, more's the pity), to see the Tennessee Aquarium.

Alex did fairly well, although the lack of a nap, the crowds (every other parent in the state had the same idea, apparently), and the heat and humidity did lead to a serious melt-down while we were near the pet-the-sturgeon tank.

And while we did skip the saltwater exhibit (waaah...), Alex did seem to like the fish!

Did you see that?

Mommy, that fish is bigger than me!

How come they don't rock, like the ones at the park?

My guys become part of the exhibit.

These three just kept swimming around, like Mob-tied body guards. Scary, huh?

You can't quite see it here, but this is a Beluga sturgeon...that fish was bigger than Matt!
